BioMat Queen - exposed urathane - no fabric
The Richway Queen Biomat is actually the size I use on my bed. I come up with the idea of doing a burrito where I fold it in half with me in the middle. It does feel a little heavy and hard to move since so much weight is on me and it is constricted but when I have the top mat on full blast and the lower on low to get that far infrared isolate, it is as real as it gets.
Most people that have back pain will usually heat the top half on low and the bottom on high. Depending if I have the time to do some lymphatic exercise after my session ONLY after my core has heated up. What good is it to try to remove if the body hasn't released yet. If you study lipolysis in Anatomy class you will learn why. It's funny how most people go in the sauna after their workouts and not before.
Note: it is a little tricky to use the water proof cover with the queen since they dont make it with this size. I use 2 waterproof
covers that were originally made for the professional size. I always put one one top and one under.
The Queen Biomat definitely has more conduction than the professional size. The fabric is cool that it doesn't block the FIR but it does block the direct heat. The professional size is more comfortable as the fabric top stops the pressure of my body digging into the amethyst. The queen size can heat up my body much quicker than the professional. My best analogy is getting and ice pack and putting a towel over the ice pack so it doesn't feel so cold but keep it on there long enough and it will get cold.
The queen is for those who want more fluence and more intensity than the professional/mini combo that is the most popular combo package.
If you are interested in the Biomat Queen, it does require slightly different protocols because most of the protocols and session timing are baed on the professional size. If someone has a very low body temperature that can make a big difference in the protocols taken.
Many people as its made for 2 people and has 2 temperature settings but for doing full spectrum sessions for those wanting very high intensity, the queen can be just the right mat. Many people like the queen while the others like the professional size. If you need help deciding on which one to get, it really depends on why you are using it, how much time you can allow per session and several other questions to determine the right protocols.
Biomat Queen Confusion:
Don't tell me to enjoy my Biomat especially the queen. Laying on my Queen Biomat when I'm already frustrated I can't even break the 30 minute mark. I don't cheat and lay on a towel or fabric or cushion. Most people don't have the money to get a oxygen concentrator that allows maybe another 10 minutes before people get out of breath. I only use this when doing a 7 hour or more session but only when it's absolutely needed. My heart starts beating too fast and off to the shower and feel guilty that maybe I ate too much and all my blood is going to digestion.
True use of the Biomat is not supposed to be fun. this is not some type of pitter pattery stupid relaxation. I am not talking about laying on it at night but actual intense sessions. Who do I call when I just can't tweak my session. I either get too hot too quick and can't finish my session or its too low and I am on there for an hour and still haven't burned sweated like I wanted. I need to fire my metabolism. I am also very aware that I preserve my energy, not come out of the session drained. I am not overweight so I only want to burn calories if my body can handle lipolysis.
It is hard for most people to get the right temperature, calculate just the right time to take off the full spectrum heat, most people get very little FIR while their core is heated because their skin is too hot and their brains tell them to get out. Meanwhile, the far infrared on the low setting is going around 2 inches deep in the body on a cold body, no where near 2 to 3 degrees higher. I am so tired of people thinking they can just set the timer. Lay on it and then they finished their Biomat session. No one even thinks about what lipolysis really is. Release remove. Not remove release.
I don't promote the queen for the sake of just having the extra luxury of size. The Single size is large enough for me. The biggest value of the queen is that one half of it can be turned on low and the other on high and I can sandwich myself in between and get a super fluence full spectrum session.
